To provide an optical fiber rewinding device capable of automatically carrying out the winding of an optical fiber and taping work to a wound optical fiber roll, in addition to the easy adjustment of the winding quantity of the optical fiber.

The optical fiber rewinding device for rewinding the optical fiber of a fixed length from an optical fiber bobbin wound with a large quantity of optical fiber comprises a pay-off unit 10 supplying the optical fiber for rewinding; a cutting unit 50 cutting the optical fiber supplied from the pay-off unit 10 in the unit of a fixed length; a take-up unit 70 winding the optical fiber supplied from the pay-off unit to form the optical fiber roll; a tape supply unit 80 supplying a tape for taping the optical fiber roll; a taping unit 90 for taping the optical fiber roll wound by the take-up unit 70; and a controller for controlling optical fiber rewinding operation.
