Abstract:
To provide an optical film, backlight module, and method of manufacturing the optical film.SOLUTION: An optical film of the present invention comprises a quantum dot gel layer and a shielding layer disposed on the quantum dot gel layer. The quantum dot gel layer contains a first polymer and quantum dots dispersed in the first polymer. The first polymer contains: 1-5 wt.% photoinitiator, 3-20 wt.% scattering particles, 20-50 wt.% thiol compound, 5-30 wt.% monofunctional acrylic monomer, 20-40 wt.% multifunctional acrylic monomer, 1-5 wt.% organosilicon-grafted oligomer, and 500-1500 ppm inhibitor. The quantum dot gel layer can not only omit all shielding layers, but can also maintain as good blocking effect against water vapor and oxygen while reducing the thickness.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
