Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film that can be applied to an electronic pen input system that detects input coordinates from dot patterns to receive an input of various types of information, the optical film capable of easily manufacturing with a simple configuration and ensuring stable and high productivity.SOLUTION: There is provided an optical film 5 that is transparent in a visible light region and diffuses and reflects a near-infrared ray, the optical film comprising: a substrate 10 that has a rough surface M at least on one face and is formed of a transparent film material transparent in the visible light region; and a diffusion reflection layer 9 that is formed of cholesteric liquid crystal manufactured on the rough surface M of the substrate 10, in which the diffusion reflection layer 9 has a pattern of streaks, showing a spiral axis structure of the cholesteric liquid crystal observed by a TEM or a SEM, formed along a concavo-convex shape of the surface of the rough surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
