To provide an optical filter in which a mirror part is formed for preventing unnecessary light from entering the mirror part.
An optical filter is light-transmissive, and comprises a first substrate having a first reflecting film on its first side, and a second substrate arranged opposite to the first side. The side of the second substrate, which is opposite to the first side, has a first recess, and a second recess arranged on the outer periphery of the first recess in a plane view, viewed from the thickness direction of the second substrate, and having a closed shape in the plane view. The distance between the first bottom part composing the bottom of the first recess and the second substrate is shorter than the distance between a second bottom part composing the bottom of the second recess and the second substrate. A second reflecting film is formed on the first bottom part. The second reflecting film is extended from the first bottom part to a face connecting the first bottom part and the second bottom part.
