Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract the light of a specified wavelength in a wide wavelength band with a simple structure.SOLUTION: An optical filter (12) according to the present invention selectively extracts the light of a specified wavelength from an incident light (L1) by a surface plasmon resonance, and includes: a pair of beam-like members (24) juxtaposed at an interval; and a base end part (25) for supporting both ends of the pair of beam-like members. The surfaces of the pair of beam-like members excite the surface plasmon resonance upon receipt of the incident light, and are configured to be energized. The interval of the pair of beam-like members is adjusted by the energizing of the pair of beam-like members, and the surface plasmon resonance is excited in the pair of beam-like members by the incident light. Thereby, the light of a specified wavelength according to the interval of the pair of beam-like members can be extracted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
