Abstract:

To provide optical glass having 1.56 or more of refractive index (nd), 57 or more of Abbe number (νd), and 560°C or lower of deformation temperature (At), satisfactory in devitrification resistance at the time of molding, and suitable for molding such as precision mold press forming, and transcription of fine structure.

The optical glass contains 4.5-17.0 wt.% of SiO2 excepting 4.5 wt.%, 45.0-60.0 wt.% of B2O3 excepting 45.0 wt.%, 1.0-20.0 wt.% of Li2O+Na2O+K2O, 5.0-25.0 wt.% of BaO, 4.5-25.0 wt.% of ZnO, and 1.0-17.0 wt.% of Y2O3+La2O3+Gd2O3.
