Title:
Optical heterodyne range finder
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6019360
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical heterodyne distance meter capable of calculating a distance by signal processing in a low frequency region.SOLUTION: An optical heterodyne distance meter 1 includes: an optical frequency comb light source 2 for generating signal light 21; an optical frequency comb light source 3 for generating reference light 22; a photodetector 12 for receiving incidence of the signal light 21 and the reference light 22 after being reflected by a measuring object and generating beat signals 23; the photodetector 12 for generating the beat signals 23 which are electric signals; a frequency synthesizer 13 for generating reference signals 24; and distance calculation means (14, 20) for calculating the distance of a measuring object S from the beat signals 23 and the reference signals 24. The signal light 21 and the reference light 22 are both generated as an optical frequency comb. Respective repetition frequencies of the signal light 21 and the reference light 22 are adjusted such that one repetition frequency does not become an integral multiple of the other repetition frequency.
