Abstract:
To provide a highly glossy optical information recording medium which can improve the quality of the images printed on it by making the printed image as glossy as before printing.
This optical information recording medium has an ink absorbing layer made of porous film formed on the outermost layer opposite to the recording and reproducing surface. The ink absorbing layer surface has a glossiness of 25 or larger in a 60° mirror glossiness before printing, and can maintain the same or a larger glossiness even after printing.
