To provide an optical laminate having a void of a void layer into which a binder, an adhesive or the like hardly penetrates.SOLUTION: An optical laminate 10a or 10b of the invention includes a void layer 12 and a low moisture permeable layer 13 formed on the void layer 12. The low moisture permeable layer 13 contains at least one selected from the group consisting of a metal, a metal oxide, silicon, a silicon oxide, and an organic-inorganic hybrid material and has a steam permeability of 35 g/m2 day or less measured by a cup method stipulated by JIS Z 0208-1976.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
