Title:
OPTICAL MARK FOR DETECTION AND DETECTING METHOD FOR THE MARK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3632773
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily and accurately judge a change in a data detecting environment by forming a sufficiently long leading part continued before a data part by a fluorescent material.
CONSTITUTION: When a mark 14 is irradiated with light, the fluorescent material of the leading part 20 is excited at first and fluorescence is generated. Since the length of the leading part 20 is set up sufficiently longer than the continued part of the data part 21, fluorescence is generated from the leading part 20 with sufficiently large intensity and in a stable state and the intensity corresponding to a detecting condition or an environment is obtained. Since the leading part 20 is continuously arranged on a position close to the scanning starting position of the data part 21, the intensity of fluorescence discharged from the data part 21 is also uniformly changed over the whole area. The intensity of fluorescence generated from the leading part 20 is detected at first and the intensity of fluorescence generated from the data part 21 is compared with the detection value to be a reference, so that the contents of a mark formed on the data part 21 can be judged.
