To provide an optical member capable of increasing luminance and luminance balance of a liquid crystal display device, light in weight and having high durability and to provide the liquid crystal display device having high luminance and luminance balance, light in weight and having high durability.
In the optical member used for the liquid crystal display device and including a first sheet, a second sheet and a third sheet of a corrugated shape interposed between the first and second sheets and having a plurality of top parts extending in parallel, preferably, the top parts on one surface of the third sheet are fixed to the first sheet and the top parts on the other surface of the third sheet are fixed to the second sheet. The liquid crystal display device includes the same.
