Abstract:
To provide an optical module which keeps a positional relationship between an optical element and a lens stable.SOLUTION: An optical module includes: a substrate 2 on which an optical element 1 is mounted; a lens plate 4; and an adhesive layer for bonding both. A lens part 41 and a projection part 42 surrounding the lens part are provided in a lens plate. The projection part is formed continuously from an outer periphery of the lens part. A top part of the projection part protrudes beyond the surface of the lens part. Further, the projection part has an outer inclined surface 42b whose height gradually decreases from the top part toward the outside. The top part 42a of the projection part abuts on a substrate, and an adhesive layer 3 is filled between the outside inclined surface and the substrate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
