Abstract:

To realize dynamic signal processing and a band guarantee reservation function of an optical packet network.

In the optical packet network 100, a plurality of optical node devices 200A, 220A are connected to a ring 110 of an optical fiber. Each optical node device is an optical insertion branching type demultiplexing node device which inserts an optical packet into the network, extracts only an optical label from the optical packet on the network, fetches the optical packet by branching it according to a type of the extracted optical label or passes the optical packet without branching it. One of the plurality of optical node devices has a management node function which manages the other optical node device. The optical node device 200A having the management node function generates a reservation permission label indicating that insertion of the optical packet into the other optical node device is permitted and inserts it into the network and the other optical node device 200 without having the management node function inserts the optical packet into the network according to reception of the reservation permission label to the self node device.
