Title:
OPTICAL PICTURE SERVO DEVICE FOR OPTICAL DISK APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3240462
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid unstable operation of servo by not extremely shortening the sample period of a sample and hold circuit.
SOLUTION: During a regular speed recording, a sampling control circuit 17A uses a regular EFM signal a to produce a sample pulse SP having the mark recording period of CD-WO7 and the space recording period after the short mark as the high level hold period and then outputs this signal to the sample and hold circuits 16A to 16D to hold these circuits. Moreover, while the pulse SP is at a low level, the circuits 16A to 16D execute the sample operation for the outputs of the I/V converters 9A to 9D. The pulse SP defines the mark recording part on WO7 as the high level holding period and also the space recording period after the short mark as the holding period and defines the other part as the low level sample period, Thereby, the short hold period is not provided and the pulse SP does not generate ringing to assure accurate recording operation.
