To provide an optical polyester film which is excellent in transparency, prevents the occurrence of interference fringes when contacted with another transparent member, and is excellent in antistatic performance and scratch resistance.

In the optical polyester film, the density of projections having the 5th or further interference fringe observed by a double beam interferometry is at least 0.7 piece/m2 in at least one surface, and the surface specific resistance is 5×1012 Ω or below. The film is preferably a laminated by coextrusion.
