Title:
OPTICAL RECEIVER AND RECEIVING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011135176
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To accurately receive signals by splitting input signal light for each channel, converting split respective signal light components to digital signals, reducing a frequency characteristic difference between the respective converted signals, and identifying the respective signals whose frequency characteristic difference is reduced.

The optical receiver 100 includes an optical front-end 112, an ADC 120, a frequency characteristic difference compensation unit 132, and an identifying unit 150. The optical front-end 112 splits an input signal light for each channel on the basis of local light and converts the respective split signal light components into electrical signals. The ADC 120 converts the respective signals converted by the optical front-end 112 into digital signals. The frequency characteristic difference compensation unit 132 compensates a frequency characteristic difference between the respective signals converted by the ADC 120. The identifying unit 150 identifies the respective signals whose frequency characteristic difference is compensated by the frequency characteristic difference compensation unit 132.
