Abstract:
PURPOSE:To surely reproduce a desired mode by recording the mode discriminating information to a disk itself. CONSTITUTION:The titled disk is provided with mode discriminating information which can be read by a reproducing device being able to reproduce plural modes. That is, in a CD 1, a mode discriminating signal M1 which can discriminate a music clock mode reproducing CD, a season discriminating signal M2 which can discriminate which melody is used for which season, and a reproducing time discriminating signal M3 which can discriminate which melody is used for which time are recorded by utilizing R-W channels of a lead-in area. In such a way, by integrating a disk into the reproducing device, the reproducing device can execute the reproduction of a desired mode automatically.
