Abstract:
To provide an optical recording medium which enables data to be read therefrom with improved accuracy.
The optical recording medium D is provided with a plurality of information pits 1 which are optically detectable by irradiation with a light beam. In addition, the plurality of information pits 1 are divided to a plurality of pit groups 11, one group of which consists of the plurality of information pits 1 simultaneously scannable by a single light beam. The arrangement form of the plurality of information pits 1 of the respective pit groups 11 include a plurality of ways of the arrangement forms. Each pit group 11 is constituted to have the information based on the array of the plurality of information pits 1.
