Abstract:
To produce an optical recording medium capable of lowering a noise level in erasure and the noise level in recording.
A reflecting film 6 is formed on a substrate 2 by sputtering and the surface of the reflecting film 6 is smoothened to ≤0.75 nm surface roughness Ra by sputter etching. A dielectric film 3, a recording film 4 and a dielectric film 5 are successively formed on the reflecting film 6 by sputtering and an organic matter protective film 7 comprising a UV-curing resin is formed on the dielectric film 5.
