Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve weather resistance in a wet condition by setting the film thickness of a reflection film to >=2,000Angstrom to form a protective film without damaging a recording film. CONSTITUTION:A recording film 2 which absorbs the recording laser light to record a signal train as the deformation of the surface is provided on a transparent substrate 1 on which guide grooves 5 for tracking servo are formed, and a reflection film 3 having >=2,000Angstrom thickness is provided on the film 2, and a protective film 4 is formed on the film 3. A metallic thin film which has a high reflectivity for the band of 750-850nm wavelength is suitable as the material of the film 3, and an ultraviolet setting liquid resin may be used as the material of the film 4. Thus, the protective film is formed without damaging the recording film, and the weather resistance in a wet condition is improved.
