Title:
OPTICAL REGISTER MEMORY ARRAY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01164930
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain an output optical pulse which scarcely has a waveform distortion irrespective of whether the storage time is long or short by providing plural pieces of optical channels in which an optical age part is added to the front part or the rear part or both the parts of a bistable semiconductor laser part, on a substrate by integrating them in an array shape. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of optical channels in which optical age parts G, G' are added to the front part or the rear part or both the parts of a bistable semiconductor laser part BL are integrated in an array shape and provided on a substrate 11. Subsequently, the timing pulse of a voltage of a current applied to them is set to a desired value. In such a way, a write time, a storage time and a read-out time can be controlled easily to desired values, and also, an output optical pulse which scarcely has a distortion and is amplified can be obtained.
