Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably correct a curved scanning curve of the third order or more in an optical scanner, so as to prevent image defects such as color shift and color shading due to the scanning curve irrespective of resolution.SOLUTION: An optical scanner 11 in a printer 1 of the present invention includes a first deflector 35 and the like that deflect laser beams emitted from light sources 32Y and the like, and first folding mirror parts 43Y and the like that adjust scanning curves of the laser beams deflected by the first deflectors 35 and the like. The first folding mirror part 43Y includes: a mirror 45 that has a reflection surface; a stay 46 that has female screw holes 49, is provided on the rear face of the reflection surface of the mirror 45, and has the mirror 45 fitted to the inside thereof; and curve adjustment parts 47 that are attached to the female screw holes 49 to be capable of pressing the mirror 45 from the rear face of the reflection surface. The female screw holes 49 are provided in the main scanning direction at a predetermined distance, and the curve adjustment parts 47 are provided in accordance with the plurality of female screw holes 49.
