Abstract:
To provide an optical scanner and an image forming device that can prevent color shift of a color image caused by deviation of temperature distribution in the optical scanner.
The optical scanner 6 includes light source units 52, 53, 54, 55 for generating an optical beam, a polygon mirror 62 for deflecting and scanning the optical beam generated by these light source units 52, 53, 54, 55, a plurality of heater units, and an optical housing 50 in which the light source units 52, 53, 54, 55 and the polygon mirror 62 are stored and in which the plurality of the heater units are installed nearly symmetrically with respect to the rotary shaft of the polygon mirror 62 as the center.
