Title:
OPTICAL SCANNER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04195112
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To stably obtain a synchronizing signal even if a recording information signal is of a low level by varying the wavelength of a light beam for scanning and the wavelength of a light beam for detection from each other. CONSTITUTION:After the light beam for scanning subjected to optical modulation by the recording information signal is deflected by an optical deflector 5, this light beam is separated in one direction by a wavelength separating means 7. The light beam for detection of the wavelength varying from the wavelength of the light beam for scanning is guided to the optical deflector 5 via the same optical path of at least a part of a light transmission means at the time of optically scanning the surface to be scanned by the separated light beam for scanning. The light beam for detection separated in another direction by the wavelength separating means 7 after the deflection is detected by a detecting means 20 and the timing at the time of subjecting the light beam for scanning to the optical modulation in accordance with the recording information signal is corrected by a correcting means 30 in accordance with the signal from the detecting means 20. The synchronizing signal is stably obtd. in this way even when the recording information signal is of the low level. The optical scanning is thus executed with high accuracy.
