The optical sheet 50 comprises: an isotropic medium layer 51 which has a plurality of convex parts 53 having substantially triangular cross-section, respectively formed on a first surface S1, and is formed of optically isotropic medium; and an anisotropic medium layer 52 which has a plurality of concave parts 54 having substantially triangular cross-section, is respectively formed on a second surface S2, and is formed of optically uniaxially medium. The isotropic medium layer 51 and the anisotropic medium layer 52 are stacked in such a state that respective convex parts 53 are brought into tightly contact with respective concave parts 54.
