To provide a compact and large capacity optical storage medium reproducing device in which many optical storage media are incorporated though it is compact and which can reproduce them.
This device is a reproducing device 100 of an optical storage medium 3 having structure in which one or a plurality of flat type light guide in which diffraction or scatter factor is recorded are laminated and image-forming light diffracted or scattered by a recording factor on the prescribed image-forming plane as a picture, the reproducing device 100 is provided with a medium loading part to which a plurality of optical storage medium 3 are loaded in the direction of lamination of light guide of the optical storage medium 3, and an interface connector 7. Also, such optical storage medium 3 is used that the medium is previously designed so that a image-forming plane coincides with a position of a receiving element of the reproducing device 100 when the optical storage medium 3 is loaded to a slot 31 for loading a medium provided in the reproducing device 100.
