Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide an optical switch by which arrangement density of optical connector lines arranged in a connector unit can be heightened. CONSTITUTION:In an optical switch having a connector unit 10 connected to one ends of a large number of optical fibers 13 and a master side connector 14 arranged opposite to the connector unit 10, the connector unit 10 is formed of a waveguide substrate 12 on which a large number of optical waveguide 11 are arranged so as to be coupled optically individually with one ends of the respective optical fibers 13.
