Abstract:

To provide an optical system for solar light collection that has high efficiency despite a compact size and a solar light collection system that can track the sun with a simple structure.

Once solar light has been collected by a condenser lens L1 with a large NA, NA is reduced with a divergent lens L2 and solar light is made incident in an optical fiber and/or an optical fiber bundle serving as a light guide system. Thus, a length of an optical system can be reduced by a difference Δ of light collection positions while setting a final incident light flux with NA falling in a range from 0.2 to 0.3, thereby allowing reduction in the thickness of a frame of the entire lighting system and thus enabling reduction in size and cost.
