Title:
OPTICAL TRANSMISSION APPARATUS AND WAVELENGTH MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3779176
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission apparatus in which maintainability is improved by preventing detection errors of an ID error.
SOLUTION: An optical transmission apparatus, in which an wavelength- multiplexed input signal is demultiplexed into respective wavelength components to transmit to the transmission paths corresponding to the components, is provided with a wavelength number detecting section for detecting the number of wavelengths to detect whether or not the number of wavelengths is normal, a plurality of identifier detecting section provided for each wavelength to detect whether or not the identifier set in each wavelength component signal is normal, and a judging section for judging an error for each wavelength component on the basis of the result of detection by the wavelength number detecting section and the result of detection by the identifier detecting sections.
