Abstract:
To provide an optical transmission device and a control method thereof that can improve a transmission characteristic.SOLUTION: A node 10 comprises: a multiplexing unit 11 for multiplexing a plurality of sub-carrier signals for performing optical wavelength multiplex communication to a wavelength group signal; an output unit 12 for outputting the multiplexed wavelength group signal to an optical transmission path; a pre-multiplexing level correction unit 13 for correcting a level deviation of the sub-carrier signals before multiplexing on the basis of an optical level of the wavelength group signal at the output unit 12; and a post-multiplexing level correction unit 14 for correcting a level deviation of the wavelength group signal after the multiplexing on the basis of the optical level of the wavelength group signal at the output unit 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
