An optical focusing system 14 is arranged on an end face 12A of a multichannel fiber image guide 12 composed of a plurality of optical fibers packed into a bundle and, an organic electroluminescence(EL) element 22 is formed on the end face 12A where the optical focusing system 14 is arranged by successively laminating a transparent electrode layer 16 as an anode, an organic compound layer 18 including a light emitting layer and a metal electrode layer 20 as a cathode with vapor deposition, etc., and is used as a light source. Thereby the optical focusing system 14 and the light source are simply combined dispensing with a fixing technique.
