Title:
OPTICAL WAVELENGTH CONVERSION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2760302
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an optical wavelength conversion device with which light of a third harmonic wave is efficiently and stably generated from a basic wave and complication in design is averted.
CONSTITUTION: An external resonator for a second harmonic wave is constituted by disposing a first nonlinear crystal 2 for converting the basic wave into the second harmonic wave and a second nonlinear crystal 3 for converting the second harmonic wave into the third harmonic wave by light mixing of the base wave between a first mirror 8 which does not reflect the basic wave and totally reflects the second harmonic wave and the third harmonic wave, and a second mirror 11 which does not reflect the basic wave and the third harmonic wave and totally reflects the second harmonic wave. The basic wave from a basic wave laser oscillator 1 is made incident on this external resonator via an isolator 12.
