Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical writing device which can suppress a dispersion in luminous amount of each light-emitting device due to a voltage drop in wiring resistance of a power source line.SOLUTION: In a light-emitting part 100-1 having an OLED 101, a drive circuit 102, a power source change-over switch 104, a voltage dividing circuit 105, and a holding element 107, switching is carried out by the power source change-over switch 104 during a sample period for writing brightness signals SG1 transmitted on a signal line 94 into the holding element 107 so that the voltage division voltage Vr of the voltage dividing circuit 105 may be supplied to the holding element 107, and switching is carried out by the power source change-over switch 104 so that voltage division voltage Vr of the voltage dividing circuit 105 may be supplied to the holding element 107 during a sample period for writing brightness signals SG1 transmitted on a signal line 91 into the holding element 107.
