Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical writing device capable of reducing the whole length of an image carrier and downsizing the device, and to provide a process cartridge using the same and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An optical writing device 3 includes an optical writing head 31 which is arranged so as to face a photoreceptor 1 and performs optical writing by radiating image light based on image data on the surface of the photoreceptor 1, springs 36 and 37 for pressing the optical writing head 31 in the photoreceptor direction, and spacer members 32 and 33 which are arranged between the photoreceptor 1 and the optical writing head 31 and control the distance between the photoreceptor 1 and the optical writing head 31. The spacer members 32 and 33 are formed so that first contact surfaces 32a and 33a for contacting the photoreceptor 1 is positioned in the center part side in the longitudinal direction of the photoreceptor with respect to second contact surfaces 32b and 33b for contacting a head frame 35 of the optical writing head 31.
