Abstract:
To provide an improved process for regenerating a solvent used to remove contaminants from a fluid stream, and a factory for processing the fluid stream.SOLUTION: The process includes a solvent regeneration system 10 comprising a rich solvent stripper column 29, a reboiler 50, a condenser 36, and a reflux receiver 38. The process comprises introducing at least a portion of condensed stripper gas to a return location 46, which is below a feed location 27 of the rich solvent to the stripper column 29 and above a condensable stripping gas return location 53 from a reboiler.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
