Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve skew after aligning and to restrain reductions in pitch.
SOLUTION: This aligning control device, which controls the process of aligning steel plates on the upstream side of shearing, is provided with an initial aligning device, which performs initial aligning at plural positions that are upstream of a shearing position and closer to the upstream side the smaller the length of the steel plate, and a pre-aligning device, which performs aligning downstream of the initial aligning device and just before shearing. An initial aligning processing means 121 enables the operation of the initial aligning device during shearing based on information about steel plate lengths. A pre-aligning processing means 122 determines whether or not pre-aligning by the pre-aligning device is required based on the skew of the steel plates aligned, and only if it is required performs the process of executing pre-aligning.
