Abstract:

PURPOSE: To automatically determine optimum manufacturing conditions for obtaining desired product quality by determining the optimum manufacturing conditions by an optimum manufacturing condition determining means by utilizing sequential models for a plant, which are obtained by a sequential model acquiring means, as examples for manufacturing conditions.
CONSTITUTION: A couple of qualities of a product under plural manufacturing conditions are acquired as examples by the sequential model acquiring means 2a of the sequential model hierarchical neural network of the plant 1a. An optimum manufacturing condition determining means 3a determines optimum manufacturing conditions for obtaining a desired quality by utilizing the sequential models for the plant 1a acquired by the sequential model acquiring means 2a. Consequently, the optimum manufacturing conditions, control conditions, indication conditions, etc., for generating the desired quality, control performance, and sensitivity information, etc., of the product can automatically be determined.
