Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lighting device capable of reducing current consumption without deteriorating the perceptibility.SOLUTION: When any one of LEDs 1 and 2 connected in parallel with a power supply is lightened (I or II in Fig. 2(a)), intermittent lighting at 50 Hz to 10 kHz that can be visually recognized by a person as an afterimage is carried out to perform continuous lighting on appearance. When the LEDs 1 and 2 are simultaneously lightened (III in Fig. 2(a)), the timing of intermittent lighting is shifted to turn off one of the LEDs while lighting the other.
