Title:
OPTOMAGNETIC RECORDING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS60226044
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To suppress an increase in shape and size as well as cost and to permit easy loading and removing of a recording medium by using a one-way clutch and shifting upward a magnet device by a motor for rotation.

CONSTITUTION: A main shaft 23 rotates in the same direction within the one-way clutch 30 when the motor 20 rotates counterclockwise. The plural rollers 33 in the clutch 30 are then moved toward the narrow part in a clearance 32 and is grasped between the shaft 23 and a cylindrical body 31', by which the friction force between the shaft 23 and the rollers 33 as well as between the rollers 33 and the body 31' is substantially increased. The shaft 23, the body 31 and the rollers 33 are thus integrally rotated. The rotation thereof is transmitted via gears 34, 36 to a gear 37, by which magnet supporting members 25A, 25B are turned counterclockwise around the shaft 23 as shown by an arrow 43. The magnet device 6 is thereby turned and shifted upward to the height approximately equal with the height of the main shaft 23, by which the recording medium 3 can be horizontally moved. Since the motor 20 is used commonly for the rotation and shifting of the device 6, the increase in the size and shape of the recorder as well as the cost thereof is suppressed.
