To provide an oral administration composition satisfying both of sufficient sugar absorption inhibitory effect and the reduction of symptoms of constipation and diarrhea.
This oral administration composition includes an extract of a plant belonging to the genus Salacia and at least 1 kind of a component having an anti-constipation effect or a component having anti-diarrhea effect. Preferably the component having the anti-constipation effect is 1 kind selected from the group consisting of an oligo-sugar, a dietary fiber, a sugar alcohol, a natural plant body or its extract, a crude drug and lactobacilluses, and the component having the anti-diarrhea effect is 1 kind selected from the group consisting of tannins, the lactobacilluses, the oligo-sugar, the crude drug, the natural plant body or its extract and berberine chloride.
