Abstract:
To provide a thin film adherable to the oral cavity, releasing a pharmaceutical agent or an active agent for cosmetics and rapidly dissolving.
The composition is orally applicable to release the active agent in the oral cavity, and comprises at least one water-soluble or water-dispersible polymer, the active agent and nicotine as essential ingredients, and exhibits immediate wettability by softening immediately after applied to oral mucosa and subsequently rapidly dissolves or decomposes.
