Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the oil-containing refrigerant from entering a compressor when one compressor is stopped by connecting a plurality of enclosed type compressors in parallel in one refrigerant system, and connecting the liquid return pipe from an accumulator to a connecting pipe to connect a closed container of each compressor to each other.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of, e.g. two sets of compressors 3, 4 are connected to one refrigerant system in parallel, the respective closed containers are connected to each other through an equalizing oil pipe 14, and a liquid return pipe 18 from the bottom of an accumulator 9 is connected to the equalizing oil pipe 14. When both compressors 3, 4 are operated, the mixture of the refrigerant and oil stored on the bottom part of the accumulator 9 is allowed to enter the respective compressors 3, 4 through the liquid return pipe 18 and the equalizing oil pipe 14. This constitution eliminates the suction force of the compressor 4 when one compressor 4 is stopped, allows the entered mixture to be fully sucked by the compressor 3 to avoid the in-flow into the compressor 4, and prevents the oil in the closed container of the compressor 4 from being diluted by the refrigerant.
