Abstract:

To provide an organic compound-based porous composite material having high catalytic activity for organic synthetic reactions, or the like, and high absorptive activity for gas components, or the like, and also highly durable and enabling its performance to be sustained stably.

This organic compound-based porous composite material is characterized in that at least one substance selected from the group consisting of porphyrins, porphyrin derivatives, porphyrin skeletal isomers, phthalocyanines, phthalocyanine derivatives, iron-sulfur cluster and iron-molybdenum cluster is chemically bound via an amino acid to the inner wall surface of the pores of mesoporous organosilica with the pores 1-30 nm in central diameter.
