Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element capable of being driven at low voltage and enhancing emission efficiency. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element is formed between an anode layer and a cathode layer and has an electron-transport layer and a light-emitting layer. The electron-transport layer is composed of a polymer having repeating units represented by the general chemical formula 1 wherein R represents either of hydrogen, an aliphatic hydrocarbon group, an aromatic hydrocarbon group, an ether group, or a heterocyclic group.
