Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2571531
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an org. fertilizer having an excellent fertilizer response to, for example, flowering plants, etc., by effectively utilizing excrements of larvae of beetles and a process for production suitable for mass production of this org. fertilizer.
CONSTITUTION: The larvae 3 of the beetles are housed in breeding boxes l in which grounds 2 of coffee are housed to make the boxes nearly full. These breeding boxes 1 are stored by stacking the boxes in 5 steps in a warehouse which has good ventilation and is shielded of 50% light. The larvae 3 eat the ground 2 of coffee and discharge the excrements 4 which are the essential components of the org. fertilizer having the excellent fertilizer response. These larvae 3 instinctively push up the discharged excrements 4 toward the upper surface and evade themselves from these excrements. Then, the discharged excrements 4 gather to the upper parts of the breezing boxes l gradually accompanying to the growth of the larvae 3 and are, therefore, easy to be collected from outside. Consequently, the excrements 4 are efficiently mass produced.
