Abstract:
To provide a fine porous organic inorganic composite filler that is blended with a dental curable composition and thereby can enhance mechanical strength of its curable body, which has good operability and shape retention property of a dental curable composition paste before curing over a long period of time.SOLUTION: An organic inorganic composite filler is a composite body of an organic resin component (A) composed of a cured body of a polymerizable monomer (a) and inorganic particles (B) having an average primary particle diameter of 10-1,000 nm, in which the organic inorganic composite filler is composed of an aggregate of porous organic inorganic composite particles that are composed of a composite body having a percentage content of the inorganic particles (B) of 80-95 mass%, an integrated pore volume of a pore of 1-500 nm when measured by a nitrogen adsorption method is 0.01-0.30 cm3/g, and the individual porous organic inorganic composite particles constituting the organic inorganic composite filler is amorphous.SELECTED DRAWING: None
