PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic light-emitting element and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: An organic light-emitting element includes a substrate, a first electrode, a second electrode, and a hole transport layer, an emission layer and an electron transport layer interposed between the first electrode and second electrode. The hole transport layer includes one or more hole transport units including: a first hole transport layer containing hole transporting material, third hole transport layer formed on the first hole transport layer and containing charge generating material; and a fifth hole transport layer formed on the third hole transport layer and containing the hole transporting material.
