Abstract:

To provide an organic luminescent element having extremely high efficiency, high luminance, a long-life optical output and extremely high durability, showing various kinds of luminescent hues, easy to manufacture and producible at a relatively low cost.

This organic luminescent element has at least a couple of electrodes comprising a positive electrode and a negative electrode, and one or more layers including organic compounds interposed between the couple of electrodes. In this case, at least one layer out of the layers containing the organic compounds contains a compound expressed by the following general formula [1].
