Abstract:

NEW MATERIAL:The cyclic aminoalkylsilane of formula I [R1 is 1-6C alkyl, vinyl, cyclopropyl or chloromethyl; R2 is 1-6C alkyl, vinyl, cyclopropyl, chloromethyl or group of formula II (R4 and R5 are H, halogen, -OCH3, -OCHF2, phenyl, etc.); R3 is group of formula II; Q is pyrrolidinyl, piperidinyl, azepinyl, morpholino or piperazinyl; n is 3-7].

EXAMPLE: 5-(1-Piperidinyl)pentyl-4-chlorophenyldimethylsilane.

USE: An intermediate for the synthesis of physiologically active substances such as pharmaceuticals and agricultural chemicals.

PREPARATION: The objective compound can be produced by reacting a com pound of formula III {X is halogen or -OR6 [R6 is (halo)alkyl, alkylsulfonyl or arylsulfonyl]} with pyrrolidine, piperidine, azepine, morpholine or (substituted) piperazine.
