Abstract:
To provide an organic waste processing method and an organic waste processing apparatus, possible to suppress a production of MAP regardless of variations in the quality of water to be treated, and treat a membrane more economically and stably while suppressing membrane damage or blockage.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for processing an organic waste containing phosphorus, nitrogen and magnesium, including: causing a methane-fermentation of an organic waste 6 in a methane fermentation device; supplying the organic waste 6 and/or digested liquid 10 after methane fermentation to an MAP crystallizing device 2 to crystallize MAP particles; supplying the crystallization treatment liquid after the MAP crystallization to an MAP separation device 3 and separating the MAP particles from the crystallization treatment liquid after the MAP crystallization; adding a chemical containing a pH lowering agent, a phosphorus removing agent, or both to the separated liquid from which the MAP particles are separated; supplying the separated liquid to which the chemical has been added to a membrane separation device 5 and obtaining a membrane filtration concentrated digested liquid and permeated water; and returning the membrane filtration concentrated digested liquid to the methane fermentation device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
